Denture

Is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures available complete and partial are available. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing while partial denture is used when some natural teeth remain. At Elite Dental Clinic, we carry out the following:

• Partial Dentures: Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw. They consist of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored base, which is often connected by a metal framework to hold the denture in place. Partial dentures can help improve chewing ability and prevent shifting of remaining teeth.
• Complete Dentures: Complete dentures are used when all natural teeth are missing in either the upper or lower jaw, or both. They consist of a full set of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored acrylic base that sits on the gums. Complete dentures restore the ability to chew and speak properly and can improve facial appearance by providing support to the lips and cheeks.
